Net income in the fourth quarter of 2019 decreased by $51 million compared to fourth quarter 2018 net income of $123 million, or $0.95 per share, on net sales of $1,995 million. Income from operations of $102 million for the fourth quarter of 2019 decreased by $105 million from income from operations of $207 million for the fourth quarter of 2018.
